Amazing food, great atmosphere. Perfect for the romantic date. Low light, so bring your glasses if you wear them to read the menu. Excellent service. Expect to spend at least 150 bucks for a 3 course meal with drinks for 2.

This restaurant is the reason I won't become a vegetarian! The restaurant is dimly lit, with white tablecloths and napkins. The ambiance has remained the same since my first visit here, in 1983. This restaurant does not disappoint. My favorite is the filet mignon and let me suggest combining the sour cream dressing with a bit of French dressing! Yum! I prefer sitting in the main dinning room and if you arrive around 5:00 pm, seating is not a problem. You can also make reservations. Two thumbs up for quality of food and service!

Food is great, and they serve a full dinner with salad and bread, however the dress code has gotten a little lax over the years. It used to be a place where you had to dress at least business casual, but last time I was there there was a whole party in shorts T-shirt and sandals. I'd wish they'd enforce a little bit of a dress code before it turns into Hometown Buffet.

Great food, nostalgic setting all around wonderful experience. Every dish comes with all the accoutrements and desserts are generous size. The lounge area has a nice fire pit that gives a smoky retro 70's feel. Also, very nice art on the walls.

My family and I were there last night for a birthday dinner for my son in law. The food was delicious! The whole experience was amazing and our server was absolutely attentive, sweet, patient, and a total delight. Also the Best Pomegranate Margaritas I've ever tried! Recommended by our great server!

This spot is the one I always prefer. I go to many restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the cooking they serve is so appetizing. I would always prefer to have a decent dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

They have the best prime rib but tonight No Prime Rib. We had the ribeye steak. It is good but not great. The potato is the largest freaking potato you could ever eat. The staff were very good and the ambience fantastic. Great date place.

Don't get the seafood. The shrimp tasted like dirty laundry

Placed my order at 3:29PM via Postmates. I check my order an hour later and it hadn’t left yet, so I waited until 4:45PM to call the restaurant.The told me they were busy, but they were preparing my order and it will be about 20 mins.....:I called back at 5:29PM. They haven’t started my order, the Supervisor blamed a new guy taking Postmates orders, even though the last person I talked to verified it was “being prepared” 45 mins ago. Promises me it will be done in 10 mins......I called back at 5:55PM. The Supervisor told me they gave it to someone, just not my Postmates driver. Never got that Father’s Day dinner and will never order from this place again. Luckily Postmates refunded me. I would recommend Del Rey or Mr. V’s since they have their act together.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The customer service is always amazing. The servers, hosts, and managers are so sweet. Always smiling. The salad with the house dressing is my favorite. The cheese bread for sure is the best. And of course the food is incredibly delicious. Their steak is really good. One of the best around the city. And you always have enough to take home with you.

I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. everytime I I need a special meal, this restaurant comes first to my head. very good and diverse food and a large list of dishes.helpful team, and agreeable atmosphere. Not less important, the pay is fair. I sent my friends to this spot with great pleasure.

Was is not to LOVE! Be prepared to have a great dining experience. If you enjoy baked potato this is the king potato with all the fixings and steak yummy!

Fun place delicious food what a find. Out of the way in unassuming location but once you have it you will understand. Old fashion steak house big drinks and just a overall great place keep it up love it all

I have been coming here since 1964 , the food is still wonderful but something is missing when you are outside, it's just not the same, but still good.

Brought my wife (she was my fiancee at the time)here in 2016 for our first Valentine's Day together. She loved it. So I decided to surprise her for our 1 year Godly Anniversary with dinner at Steak 'N Stein. I even had my mother drop off the top piece to our wedding cake as a surprise for our dessert. Jose was our great waiter. When it came time for our dessert they couldn't find our cake. Jose did everything possible to help the situation & had them searching for it. After about 30 min Jose brought our cake out. Funny part is we all thought the roses on the cake were frosting, nope a foam material. He lit the candles and one of the roses started to catch fire. Wife blew it out. Guess that is one way to keep the fire in our marriage. The prime rib came out amazing. Wife loved the lobster appetizers. Can't wait for another excuse to bring my wife back for dinner.

The waiter wasn't rude he must have been new he just brought our salads put them on the table and addressing without telling us what's what he just walked away our dinner showed up the potatoes were a little cold he didn't bring us the toppings that go on the potato the cheese sour cream and chives after we asked for it it still took him around 10 minutes before we got it we were already halfway done with our dinner I heard about this place from a friend that the food was great the waiters were fantastic and great atmosphere maybe I'll try this place again in the near future 😞😞

So much food. It was a feast for any special occasion. Great midweek celebration. No waiting.

Despite having a reservation month in advance and confirming said reservation earlier the same day as the reservation we had to wait two hours before being seated. We were a larger party for a rehearsal dinner so naturally we made a reservation. The manager could not care less. He "comped" us an appetizer but it still showed up on our bill. After fighting with them about they took it off. On top of it all they were completely unsympathetic to sever allergies. After telling them several times throughout the meal they could not understand that two people have severe allergies to wheat. I would not go back there if you paid me. Would leave zero stars if possible.

100% Greatness my family has been coming here over 40 years. Myself more than 30 years. Quality and service is totally on point! They normally have live music twice a week and the ambiance is old-school classy. Appreciated the fact they added a kids menu.

Food was delicious. Great atmosphere on Black Friday. Live band starts at 6 p.m. on weekends. Banana bites dessert was yummy. Sunday with run sauce was good as well.

Dorothy was our server and she was wonderful. Everything was perfect. Our party had a steak over cooked and it was replaced without hesitation. Excellent service all around.

The food is great here although it is pretty pricey. Portions are huge though. The atmosphere is very dark and cozy. Seems like a great place to go and have drinks and just unwind.

We had my daughters wedding rehearsal dinner here. I had the Salmon. It was delicious. Calamari was chosen as our appetizer and it was the best I've had.

Great service, even with COVID precautions. They stuck us in the back, which was perfect with my 3 yo twin boys! Food was awesome as always! Thank you, Jorge, and the entire staff!

Bomb..... My office party was a week prior to my visit and my company promised us steak.... They didn't deliver so steak was on my mind. I decided to call a buddy up for dinner and we had ever been to this clearmans... Cool small dinning room by the bar.... Food was excellent.... The only thing I had a problem with was the woman singing the whole night.... She wasn't bad, it's just that I was hoping to have a quite night and being able to talk to my friends instead we had to repeat myself over and over because of the music. Waitress was excellent and kept my glass full. A+

Classic lodge feel steakhouse with indoor circular fireplace and Germantown oak decor. Large portions, can accommodate large parties. Makes you feel like you are traveling in a different country. I came for a company sponsored meal, fully enjoyed the food, atmosphere and staff. Great place to relax with some wine around the fireplace, conversation starter vibe.

I've been coming here since I was 14 yrs old. I'm now 55.This has always been my go to place for great steak and lobster. Salad w/ blue cheese,cheese bread. Huge baked potatoes OMG. We visited last weekend during opening after covid for fathers day and my birthday. my Ribeye for the first time had no flavor. It tasted chared. Both mine and my husbands. Hopefully it was just a bad cook for the day.

Clearman's is a classic steak house with such original charm and flair. This restaurant is a gorgeous time capsule that transports you to another place and time. The food, ambiance, and staff make this place what it is. Such a pleasure to visit.

I have been dining at Clearmans Steak and Stein in Pico Rivera since 1973 and I can say I have never had a bad meal or experience here. Each time I and all my family and friends have dined here has been great. The food quality and service is consistant. Tonight we made a reservation for six people and again service and food quality was excellent. It's a little different with the covid-19 servers wear masks & gloves. The filet mignon, New York, ground steak all cooked to order , well seasoned, cheese bread fabulous as always, salad and house dressing great. Our server was great !! If you have never tried this location you really are missing out on a wonderful large meal. One note they always serve there in house made onion rings but they haven't been able to get them from the supplier during the covid 19. They will begin serving them again when everything goes back to normal. Also I have dined at one other location and the food is good but it's different types of food.

The food and the ambience is very good. Service was ok. It's a place to go when you are celebrating something with your loved ones. Been going there for decades. It's a comfort spot ❤️

It’s an amazing place to dine! Food is excellent and the service is top notch! I have been going for special occasions for over 30 years and it’s the perfect atmosphere and the decor is like your in a different era. I really love that so much about this place. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family! I love Steak and Stein!!!
